Another Flood?

Flood waters forced the evacuation of the daycare the boys go to. This is part of the parking lot and playground.
Maize road was closed but that didn't stop some people. I wasn't too worried at first but when I saw water rushing through the parking lot of the business next door, I was ready to go.

The Cowskin creek passes behind the daycare and then across Maize Road.
This is the Cowskin at 8:10 AM this morning at Kellogg. I would have taken more pictures but I was trying to drive.

Thanks to Grandpa for calling me and letting me know that the flood waters were coming.

Do you like my dress?

Just an FYI - Jackson is playing dressup at preschool. He is not a cross dresser.

60 degrees in February

Yesterday when I picked up the boys from daycare it was in the 60's and they were playing outside. When Jackson saw me he ran to me as fast as he could. He was wearing a heavy coat because he didn't have any light jackets at the preschool. I didn't realize it was going to be so nice that day.
Jarrett was excited to see me too. When I got there he was running around the playground with his friends. They wanted me to take their picture and then wanted to see the picture afterward. It's a good thing I have a digital camera.

Who me? I didn't touch him

I have had several reports lately from Jackson's, yes I said Jackson's, teacher saying he is pushing, hitting and taking the occasional nibble of his class mates. Nothing major yet but he is the oldest in his class now at 18 months and he is also the biggest. Since he gets in trouble for pushing the other kids he has decided to go another route. He sticks out his belly as far as possible and runs into the other kids. He didn't push the other kid, right? I'm sure it was an accident.Look at that sweet face. Would he do something like that?

Jackson's Christmas Program

Jackson's program was VERY cute. his class dressed as elves and sang (I use that term loosely) with the 2 year old class. They shook jingle bells, jumped up and down and danced. Jackson ended up with 2 sets of bells. I think he was the best bell player there.
He was really funny to watch. He wandered around the stage and almost walked off of it a few times. I think there were at least 6 adults on stage and 4 in front of the stage making sure no one fell off.
They were all very sweet but I think he was the cutest one there.

Jarrett's Christmas Program

Jarrett had his Christmas program today. He had to be persuaded to join his class and seemed to be doing well waiting with his friends.
He was looking at the playground outside and wanted to go and play. I told him if he went out and sang with his class then he could play in the playground.
He said ok. We lined up last and followed everyone else to the stage. Here is his class on stage.Do you see Jarrett? No? He decided not to sing. He didn't even want his picture taken. Oh well. He wasn't the only one who didn't want to participate.
He was still the cutest one there.

Jackson's First Day At Daycare

Today is Jackson's first day at daycare. He joined big brother Jarrett at a Preschool/Daycare so I don't have to drive to 2 different places every day. Here he is having breakfast with his new class. Tonight is Chris's first football game. I will let you know how they do. Go Maize Eagles!
