Final Bedroom Pictures

Here is the finished product. What do you think?The stairs have drawers in them. I put Jarrett's clothes in them and left Jackson's in the big dresser.The boys really like to top bunk. Jackson doesn't get up there much. He would live there if we'd let him. We put a board down so no more quick escapes. It works well with the tent that is on the bed.

Here is a picture of the board. It makes a good track too. Jarrett and I were racing cars on it.

Jackson really likes the stairs. He gets REALLY mad when he can't get on them or when we take him off. He has no fear and is quite the climber.

Matt put a door on the stairs and that made Jackson REALLY REALLY mad.

Jarrett has been really excited about his new bed, not that he has slept in it or anything.

We will have to take baby steps. We'll try sleeping on the bottom bunk first. For now Jackson is still in the crib. I'm not ready for him to roam the house at night . . .

What's That About?

Here we are on day 2 of the bunk beds. I think the boys enjoyed this day because they had a way to get from the top bunk to the bottom REALLY fast. Too fast for Mommy to handle. We didn't buy mattresses for the beds we are just using what we have. The bunk beds are full over full. Our mattresses are twin over full. Jarrett liked to stand in the hole but Jackson just liked to climb through it. We have a solution and it is in place so don't worry.

I had to get this on video. We didn't think Chris would fit but he did. I will post the complete set up tomorrow. Sorry this video is sideways. I don't know how to fix it.

New Beds

Hi, this is Jackson. Just a little update to say that my Mom and Dad bought us new beds. They needed my help putting them up though. This is me testing the board strength.

I had to make sure everything was up to my standards.

I let Dad paint the wall and put up border without me. He did have to consult with Grandma on the border a little. Don't you think it is a nice color?

They call me Jack the builder.

Could you lift the board a little please? Wait . . . I don't think this goes here.

Alright Daddy, you can help but could you do something about the paparazzi?

I think it's too close to the wall. How am I going to climb up to the top?Oh yea, Jarrett didn't help. He just raced cars.

We were in Wal Mart last week, shocking I know, and Jarrett found a tent. He fell in love instantly. Daddy did not. We searched and searched for a different one but could not find one. Even though Daddy didn't like it we bought it anyway.
It is a bed tent. We'll just pretend it is a Dale Jarrett tent. Jarrett and Jackson don't care. They just want to play in it.
